How Does My Garden Grow?

I love flowers. They make me happy :)
I grew everything from seeds saved from last year, or from divisions from friends and family.
Woo-Hoo! I'm a seed-saver:)

And growing things we can actually eat? Forget about it!
'Maters
Crazy cantaloupe aka "Audrey II"
Jalapenos!
OMG! I can't wait!

Thanks Gail :)

Kelli, the top flower is a zinnia bud. I love the cool wavy spiky strands that turn into the petals.

Elizabeth, that means a lot coming from you! I have always admired your beautiful garden and flower power skills :)

oh, now I see Kelli's question and your zinnia answer, we have grown these guys but I never noticed how they look in bud stage. WOW - too cool.

That's a Zinnia bud? Amazing! I used to grow hundreds for cuttings at the farm and never saw that stage. Maybe it's that specific type. Beautiful!!

Not all of the zinnia buds look that, so it must be the particular type. It stays in that stage forever though. A clarification: only the flowers are from my seeds last year...not the fruits and veggies. I haven't got that far yet in my gardening skills :)
