Playing Catch Up - Part One

I've been put to task about my lack of blogging lately. Nina really likes to keep up with us, and the blog lets her see our lives. So, as I'm feeling a bit humbled, I thought I would do a quick run through of all the fabulous, incredible adventures we have been on lately.
Thanks for the kick in the ass Nina :) Here's part one.

Doing Hot-Lanta with John's family:
(I know you were there Nina, so this one doesn't count as far as you're concerned!)

John's parents organised an incredible trip to Atlanta for us all to be together and see both the King Tut exhibit and the Terracotta Soldiers. We loved both. It was fascinating that these artifacts were not only constructed so many thousands of years ago, but that they remained intact. Too freakin' cool! We are fans of "The Mummy" movies, which all have a little something to do with both exhibits. The kids were familiar with many aspects of the both the Chinese Emperor and various Egyptian Pharaoh history just from watching the movies. Connections are everywhere.

The hotel brought it's own enjoyment

Dining out at ECCO was also a highlight

Sophie and Max, seeing if the kitchen was run anything like Chef Ramsey's

Our crowd enjoying a good meal

Auntie Nina and Ella

Alex, thoroughly impressed with G. Mike's I-Phone

John and Ella, having fun, as usual

We emerged from King Tut's tomb to a heavy snowfall

I showed this to Aleah because we had been talking about the questionable curse placed on all who disturb Tut's tomb and Aleah is glad it is snowing because that means no one got a mosquito bite like Lord Carnavon. Sorry we missed seeing you guy at ARGH! Jess
